Abstract

A study was conducted among 76 students who passed the Olympiad competitions on practical medical skills in an innovative remote format. The data obtained indicate the effectiveness of distance simulation training, which was evaluated by students answering test questions before and after passing the competition task, as well as by evaluating the actions of students during the remote passage of the simulation scenario. The proposed method of remote simulation allowed to increase the quality of knowledge of certain issues of emergency medical care.

Abstract

The article presents data from an original study to assess the quality and effectiveness of teaching "obstetrics and gynecology" using distance technologies during the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19. The necessity of using simulation platforms for full and high-quality training in one of the main applied medical disciplines of the surgical profile is substantiated.

Abstract

Currently, training using simulation technologies is an integral part of the modern educational process. The introduction of these technologies makes it possible to link theoretical training with practical activity. The aim of this study was to find out the students' opinion about the influence of simulator classes on the quality of education, on the choice of a future specialty, and whether they were interested in studying in these classes. In the course of the study, it was revealed that, according to students, simulation classes improved the quality of mastering theoretical material not only in this discipline, but also in related clinical disciplines, and that the classes were interesting. Thus, the research carried out indicates the need to integrate simulation training into the main educational programs.

Abstract

The need for rapid re-profiling of specialists, changes in the logistics of providing medical care in the context of a pandemic dictate the widespread introduction of simulation technologies in the educational process. The paper considers possible changes in the format of simulation training, taking into account the peculiarities of the epidemiological situation.

Abstract

Simulation education is a relatively new direction, without which it is already impossible to imagine medical education at the present time. The same applies to dentistry. The results of observations confirm the feasibility of using simulation training: students become more confident in professional skills, and the number of medical errors is reduced.

Abstract

Medical education as a constituent link between yesterday's student and future specialist doctor, at the preclinical stage, decides on the patient's safety in the provision of medical care. The conditions, quality and methods of providing medical care to the population, as well as the safety of patients, is an integral and main task of medical workers. Practical skills and manipulations should be acquired and practiced not on patients, but in Simulation Training Centers using high-tech simulators. An already prepared student comes to the patient with a baggage of knowledge, practiced practical skills, when a hand is placed, there are developed algorithms, certain knowledge and experience in performing practical skills. This allows without risk to the health and life of the patient to obtain professional skills on simulators and use their experience in further work [1].
