https://doi.org/10.46594/2687-0037_2020_3_1212

Abstract

After practical training, all students retained an average level of communication skills, similar to the initial level of assessment after theoretical training, however, in the group of students who underwent re-assessment, significant differences were found in specific communication skills. Empathy and ability to take anamnesis improved significantly, while the structure of history taking and non-verbal behavior decreased. Thus, the overall score remained unchanged, reflecting the balance between improved, deteriorated and unchanged competencies.
