Abstract

Training of doctors in communication skills with patients has been actively developing all over the world for the last 20-25 years, relevant classes are held both with students and with certified specialists. Practice shows that learning communication skills is most effective if the mastery of communication skills is integrated into the process of teaching clinical skills. Throughout the world, the «gold standard» of communication skills training for doctors is training with the participation of simulated patients - specially trained actors who perform two main tasks: with the maximum possible realism, they play the role of the patient during the consultation of the medical worker with the patient played during the training, and after the game they give the student feedback, in which they talk about their perception of the past consultation and the emotional experiences associated with it
