The Importance of Teaching Dental Students the Skill of "Consultation" as a Part of Preparing for Primary Accreditation

Abstract
In the context of the introduction of primary accreditation, the formation of communication skills among dental students is of particular importance. The study evaluated the preparation of the 5th-year students at the Institute of Dentistry of N. N. Burdenko Voronezh State Medical University for the OSCE station "Consultation" based on the requirements of the official station passport. An analysis of the simulation approach to training was conducted. The results showed that training using standardized patients and structured scenarios significantly increases the level of students' readiness.
