The Impact of Simulation Education on the Development of Communication Skills among Second-Year Students of Grodno State Medical University in the Context of Teaching the Discipline "Medical Care and Manipulative Techniques"

Abstract

The article discusses the relevance and importance of developing communication skills among medical students in the course of practical training using simulation technologies. Based on the analysis of literature on the issue of communication competencies of medical professionals with patients, it can be concluded that communication skills with patients are an important factor in the occurrence of medical errors, in the violation of patients' adherence to treatment, and in the decrease of trust in the healthcare system as a whole.
