The Role of Simulation Education in the Organization of a City Pain Treatment Center

Abstract

The article describes the role of simulation education in the creation and functioning of the city pain treatment center organized in the "City Clinical Hospital No. 33" (Nizhny Novgorod) since 2025. The relevance of the problem of chronic pain, especially among elderly patients, is substantiated and the lack of specialized centers in the Russian Federation is indicated. The training of doctors for the pain treatment center took place in leading medical organizations and educational centers of the Russian Federation, with an emphasis on simulation education: cadaver courses, work with moulages, master classes, theoretical training.
