Simulation Education: Only Training of Young Specialists or a Necessary Component of Modern Medical Education?

Abstract

The paper examines the attitude of experienced doctors to simulation training. The study involved 16 doctors trained in the "Emergency medical care" cycle, with an experience of 4-41 years (21.2±11.4). The participants passed topics on emergency care, followed by a questionnaire: all answered that they became more confident in the implementation of the methodology being worked out (100%), 14 people (87%) noted the need to use simulators and simulators in training.The development of skills on simulators is necessary for the introduction into the educational process not only for groups of young specialists, but also for doctors with experience.
