Prospects for Simulation Training of Appendectomy Using a Model From an Animal Organ Biomaterial

Abstract

This paper discusses the possibilities of the author's simulation model for teaching appendectomy within the framework of the training course intended for the programs of the specialist, residency, faculty of advanced training and professional retraining of doctors. The model is compared with alternative appendectomy simulators, the advantages of the proposed model are evaluated, and a conclusion is made about its educational potential.
