Abstract

Since 2016, the procedure for accreditation of medical specialists has been introduced in Russia. Kazakhstan launched an analogue of the accreditation procedure in 2015, thus becoming a pioneer in this matter. The form of certification is different in Russia and Kazakhstan, retaining a practical focus, the desire for objectivity in assessment and the use of simulation technologies. The domestic procedure is free and multidirectional in terms of its methodological content, however, due to the optimization of the number of stages, the universities of Kazakhstan are less loaded during the certification procedures.
