Abstract
The study analyzes the problem of the prestige of the profession of a nurse as one of the factors that determine its attractiveness among young people. A theoretical analysis of the problem and a study of the attitude of students of RUDN University of the subject "nursing" to the prestige of the profession of a nurse were carried out.
