The Role of the Case Method as Simulation Training in the Advanced Training of Medical Workers

Abstract

In practical classes various technologies are used: immersion in professional activities, solving situational problems, conducting role-playing games. When solving situational problems, students analyze, assess the situation, make the right decision. The main teaching methods are based on the principles of "learning through action", "learning through the process", which necessarily imply independence and problematicness that is feasible for students. The method of solving situational problems is called the Case-method.
