Maslow's Hierarchy in Virtual Learning or "Do Students Dream of Electropatients?"

Abstract
In this work an attempt is made to consider virtual (digital, information) technologies of distance learning in medical education from the point of view of Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory and to assess the possibilities of satisfying all the needs of an individual within the digital educational environment. Such analysis helps to assess the quality and effectiveness of the virtual textbook from the perspective of the learners, which opens up new opportunities for its improvement.
