Abstract

Point-of-Care Ultrasound (hereinafter POCUS) or applied ultrasonography, a new multidisciplinary direction in medical education using simulation technologies. Use of portable ultrasound for diagnostic questions in the process of medical care. Implementation in the format of highly specialized assessment protocols (eFAST protocol for protocol with polytrauma, RUSH diagnostic protocol for the causes of shock and hypotension in anesthesiology-intensive care setting). Possibility to use POCUS in various specialties of therapy, nephrology, family medicine, ICU
