Multiple mini-interviews as a method of a differentiated selection of candidates for residency

Abstract

The authors describe the results of a study of the investigating of the  opinion of candidates on the conducted differential selection for training in residency programs. For the purpose of qualitative selection of applicants for residency training, an objective structured clinical examination is conducted, including multiple mini-interview stations. The study received positive feedback on the selection procedure as a qualitative and reliable method for assessing the ability to learn, while the situational tasks were not difficult, understandable and accessible for understanding the purpose of selection.
