Abstract
In this paper the authors describe the distance learning format in the discipline "Basic Medical Manipulations" of 2nd year students of a foreign department, studying in English. Foreign students were forced to remain in self-isolation during the state of emergency, namely in hostels, and learned practical skills in a distance format. These conditions for teaching and learning were created for the first time, so students had to adapt, increase responsibility for their knowledge and develop self-discipline.
