Abstract
The experience of developing and testing a three-day practical course on extended care during delayed medical evacuation for students who have completed training in tactical medicine is presented. The course includes two days of step-by-step practical training and a four-hour team simulation scenario. A preliminary pilot lesson (n=5) and four three-day training cycles (n=28) were conducted. The approbation confirmed the feasibility of the format on the existing training base and made it possible to clarify the structure of the scenario, the content of the tasks and the directions of standardization of the assessment of learning outcomes.
