Abstract

The article presents the results of the first stage of the implementation of the first domestic protocol for communicating bad news, "ATTENTION", developed by a team of employees of the Volga Research Medical University, as well as its relevance and practical applicability, based on a survey of 220 practicing doctors in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The developed protocol was highly appreciated by the respondents, and its advantages over foreign counterparts were highlighted, including ensuring safety and taking care of the doctor's emotional state. The article emphasizes the need for targeted work with practicing doctors in this area.
