Abstract
Training in emergency care skills is essential in the training of a pediatrician. We have developed a simulation course for students of the 2-6 courses of the pediatric faculty. The course is designed taking into account the level of theoretical knowledge among students of different courses, the main principles are continuity and gradual complication. The optional simulation course was tested when teaching students of the innovative medical training groups of the Volga Region Research Medical University. In the future, it is planned to introduce the elements of the course into the core curriculum.
