Abstract
The quality of medical care depends not only on professional knowledge, but also on the work of interprofessional teams. Cognitive, communication, and organizational barriers reduce the effectiveness of teamwork. Simulation techniques, such as integrated scenario-based team training (ISBTT), EDR debriefing, role-playing, video analysis, and discussions, are used to develop competencies. These techniques help identify risks, develop strategies for overcoming them, and enable the approach to be scaled up to the NMC system and training for professionals at all levels.
