Abstract

Training of the 7th-year interns in diagnostics according to the FAST protocol based on the simulation center using the virtual ultrasound simulator Vimedix is aimed at developing key skills of rapid ultrasound assessment in trauma. This approach allows practicing the algorithm for detecting free fluid in the abdominal, pleural and pericardial cavities in conditions as close as possible to clinical ones, without risk to the patient. The use of simulation technologies ensures safety, repeatability and high efficiency of training future primary care and general practitioners.
