Abstract
The effect of time after simulation training on confidence and performance of the BLS and ABCDE protocols was assessed. ABCDE skills declined after 19 months, while BLS skills were maintained up to 31 months. However, in both cases, subjective confidence declined, which may require a differentiated approach to the frequency of repeated training.
