Abstract
Simulation training effectively develops team skills in emergency medical care, where the cost of mistakes is particularly high. Interprofessional training improved communication by 36%, as well as leadership, decision-making, and situational awareness. There was a decrease in the number of errors and an increase in patient safety. It is recommended that such programs be integrated into continuing medical education and the practice of emergency services.
