Simulation Training in the Implementation of Continuing Medical Education in the Specialty "Neonatology" at "Belarusian State Medical University"

Abstract

Effective resuscitation measures are an important area for reducing neonatal mortality. Traditional methods of teaching specialist doctors, combining theory with multimedia demonstration, can lead to an insufficient level of practical skills in providing resuscitation care to newborns in real conditions. The use of simulation technologies increases the level of professional competencies of a specialist doctor, which is safe for the patient, and also allows identifying problematic issues in the provision of medical care.
