Highly Realistic Simulation as an Effective Tool for the Formation of First Aid Skills Among Residents

Abstract
First aid is an important skill that a doctor of any specialty should possess. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of conducting a highly realistic simulation for the formation of first aid skills among residents. Simulation trainings on first aid were conducted among 351 first year residents. The study showed that conducting highly realistic simulation first aid training is positively perceived by cadets, effectively and significantly reduces the level of fear and increases readiness for first aid.
