Practice-oriented Concept of Dental Education at the Institute of Dentistry of Privolzhsky Research Medical University

Abstract

The main issue and task of higher medical education has always been the preparation of a future doctor capable of independent responsible work in medical organizations, depending on the chosen direction. Due to the need to prepare graduates who are maximally prepared for medical activity, we are implementing a practice-oriented educational concept at the Institute of Dentistry of Privolzhsky Research Medical University, which has been successfully used by us for several years — it has its own results and prospects. It is currently being implemented at 2 levels: specialty and residency.
