Abstract

Simulation training in modern medicine is a recognized technology for teaching and assessing practical skills based on realistic modeling and imitation of a clinical situation, for which educational models of varying complexity and realism are used. Simulation education in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery is leading in creating conditions for the development of a wide range of competencies without the risk of harm to a patient and without which it is impossible to imagine education in modern times.
