The use of additive 3D printing technologies in the training of vertebrologists

Abstract

Additive technologies (3D printing) can be used in teaching surgical treatment of diseases and injuries of the spinal column due to the ability to produce both standard anatomical models and models based on patient imaging data. The presented opportunities allow you to practice and maintain manual surgical skills, choose the most appropriate surgical treatment tactics at the preoperative stage, taking into account the individual anatomical characteristics of the patients and the characteristics of the pathological process.
