Information Technologies for Training Specialists in the Field of Cytology: Experience of the Far Eastern Federal University School of Medicine

Abstract

This paper presents the experience of using information technologies (IT) in the context of teaching cytology, taking into account the experience of the School of Medicine of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU). The study is devoted to the development of a system for evaluating cytological material obtained during a Pap test, consisting of a graphical information processor and a knowledge base. The article discusses the relevance of this area of ​​work, describes approaches to solving the problems, and presents the results of integrating IT into teaching cell biology.
