Accreditation of Specialists with Non-medical Education: Experience, Difficulties and Solutions

Abstract

There was a need for accreditation of specialists with a different education engaged in medical activities, but there were problems: subcommittees were not formed, accreditation centers were not equipped with the necessary equipment, specialists were not trained.To organize the accreditation and training of specialists, the joint work of the multidisciplinary accreditation and simulation center and the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics of the Kazan State Medical Academy was carried out.As a result, specialists were trained, prepared for this procedure and biologists were successfully accredited.
