Abstract
The development of medical science, the emergence of new technologies, specialties and areas significantly increase the need for postgraduate education. The main goal of postgraduate professional education is the preparation of a highly qualified medical specialist. The article discusses the problem of postgraduate education of doctors in clinical algology. The example of the Russian Independent Medical Association shows its role in the development of a separate medical specialty
